The site is 110m ASL and offers a bird's eye view of the lake, the Beit Zeida valley and the three freshwater streams that flow year round from the Golan Heights to the lake.

Sun: As predicted, a CME hit Earth's magnetic field on Sept. 24th (2043 UT). The impact was much stronger than expected. Magnetometer needles in Canada jerked by as much as 129 nT, and a G2-class geomagnetic storm began almost immediately. Observers in Europe saw unusually red auroras as far south as France. Other News: Dusty samples from the "most dangerous known rock in the Solar System" have been brought to Earth.
The American space agency Nasa landed the materials in a capsule that came down in the West Desert of Utah state.
The samples had been scooped up from the surface of asteroid Bennu in 2020 by the Osiris-Rex spacecraft.
