A quote from the 7O73T web site:
“Houston, we have a problem!” – more specifically a bird problem! During the early hours of today, a (Yemeni) Falcon decided to sit atop Dima’s 160m antenna and systematically tear apart the top section, damaging solder joints. The end result is that the antenna has been collapsed and now it will be have to be rebuilt later. In the meantime, 7O73T was then approaching 30K QSOs.
I was lucky to work him on 10m, FT8, Fox and Hounds. Took me 1 hour of calling with a beam (small) and 400W.
4W8X (Timor Leste), TX7L (Marquesas Is), and PR0T (Trindade and Martim Vaz Is) were all mucho sought after as was 7O73T (Yemen)

Sun: There are at least 10 sunspots with spot complex AR3490-91-92 posing a continued threat for M-class solar flares.
Footy: England drift through to the next round of whatever cup they were playing in.
Stoke City play Blackburn at Stoke this Saturday, a nice one to win. I had thought of going but I have a few things to do.
Other News: Cricket! Well, Oz beat India. As soon as Kohli was out I felt the result was going Australia’s way. Shame, India were the best overall team but on the day is what counts.
