I heard ZD9W on FT8 at +4 but despite calling him for over a hour, no luck. I’m not totally surprised. When I looked at the 2nd time period in the minute there must have been over 30 stations calling him. I gave up, homemade steak and kidney pie for dinner was waiting.

Sun: Again loads of sunspots. An unstable sunspot is directly facing Earth. AR3450 has a 'beta-gamma' magnetic field that harbours energy for M-class solar flares. NOAA says there's a 40% chance it will erupt today, Tuesday. If so, the explosion will be geoeffective.
Footy: Wow, Stoke City came from 2 – 0 to win 2 – 3 against Bristol City on Saturday. A very poor back pass gifted them a goal and it looked like it was downhill. But we rose from the dead. We play Southampton on Tuesday at Stoke. We lost 0 – 1. A superb free kick but it wasn’t really a foul. We had a couple of certain penalties not given. Such is footy. Leicester away on Saturday. We could get hammered.
Other News: The Cricket World Cup starts Thursday and because it’s in India it’s early in the day for us, mostly 9:00 am start. It’s on Sky with highlights starting 7:00pm (generally), also on 5HD. Will Ben Stokes finally self combust?
