Sun: There are 8 or more sunspots at the moment. Departing sunspot AR3511 poses a continued threat for strong M-class solar flares.
Right now, Earth is passing through a stream of debris from 3200 Phaethon, source of the annual Geminid meteor shower. Dark sky observers are currently reporting more than 90 meteors per hour. If it's dark where you live, go outside and look! High rates are expected for another 12 to 24 hours.
Footy: Stoke lost again last Saturday and sacked their manager. No one has been appointed to the job yet. We drew on Tuesday giving away a goal in the last minute!
Other News: This will be the last of my Ten Metre reports. After 20 years someone else can look after the Ten Metre Band.
